A passing thought on an exit to community strategy
Some passing thoughts on a buy-back and exit to community strategy that could include:
selling equity to investors with a buy-back clause triggered after the company has generated a certain amount of revenue over some time period or simply X amount of revenue, and
once the equity is sold back to the company, the company can then choose to convert to a cooperative or another alternative ownership structure that includes its stakeholders (users, investors, workers, etc.).
I was thinking this could be combined with a capped-profit model so that any excess profit can go towards growing an ecosystem around the product(s) and supporting stakeholder efforts.
